What is coaching?

The concept of coaching has become very widespread in Denmark in just a few years. Within the industry, coaching is often defined as a professional conversation, where the coach neutrally and non-advisingly steers the process towards the goal by means of open-ended questions. Precisely because coaching is not advice, guidance or therapy, but rather an objective reflection tool, it can be used very widely. ​

 

How does coaching take place?

Coaching typically takes place as a physical meeting that lasts between 45 minutes and three hours. But many are also happy with telephone coaching or coaching via electronic media. The coach is responsible for steering the conversation forward, primarily through questions. The coach is non-judgmental and neutral and has no other agenda than to be a professional tool to strengthen the process forward, regardless of the goal. You can expect the coach to begin by clarifying various practical conditions and frameworks for the course, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions. ​

 

Who is being coached?

Professional coaching is used by completely ordinary and generally well-functioning people who want to develop in one or more areas of work or life. Coaching is used both by private individuals/couples and increasingly in companies, where employees/managers or teams are coached on specific issues or tasks. It is the coach's responsibility to assess whether a person is suitable for a coaching course or will be able to get better support elsewhere. ​

 

 

Why get coached?

For individuals, a coaching course often provides higher energy and better results. The prerequisite for a high yield is especially the willingness to change, the courage to be honest and a good chemistry with the coach. Some use coaching continuously and others choose to seek out a coach when they have a concrete problem, a bad habit they want to get rid of or an important decision they have to make. Companies are increasingly using coaches for one-to-one conversations, team coaching or facilitation tasks. It is often the desire for well-being, employee retention and better results that leads companies to use coaching. ​

 

How much does coaching cost?

Coaching costs DKK 625/h. When you as a private person or company have had an initial conversation with me and we have clarified the scope of a collaboration, you will typically be presented with a total price.

Hvad er coaching?

Begrebet coaching er på ganske få år blevet meget udbredt i Danmark. Indenfor branchen er coaching ofte defineret som en professionel samtale, hvor coachen neutralt og ikke-rådgivende styrer processen i mål ved hjælp af åbne spørgsmål. Netop fordi coaching ikke er rådgivning, vejledning eller terapi, men snarere et objektivt refleksionsværktøj, kan det anvendes meget bredt.

Hvordan foregår coaching?

Coaching foregår typisk som et fysisk møde der varer mellem 45 min og tre timer. Men mange er også glade for telefoncoaching eller coaching via elektroniske medier. Coachen har ansvaret for at styre samtalen fremad, primært ved hjælp af spørgsmål. Coachen er ikke-dømmende og neutral og har ingen anden dagsorden end at være et professionelt redskab til at styrke processen fremad, uanset målet. Du kan forvente at coachen indleder med at afklare forskellige praktiske forhold og rammer for forløbet, ligesom du vil have mulighed for at stille spørgsmål.

Hvem bliver coachet?

Professionel coaching anvendes af helt almindelige og overordnet velfungerende mennesker, der ønsker at udvikle sig på et eller flere arbejds- eller livsområder. Coaching anvendes både af privatpersoner/par og i stadig højere grad i virksomheder, hvor medarbejdere/ledere eller teams coaches på konkrete problemstillinger eller opgaver. Det er coachens ansvar at vurdere om en person er egnet til et coachingforløb eller vil kunne få bedre støtte et andet sted.

Hvorfor blive coachet?

For private giver et coachingforløb ofte en højere energi og bedre resultater. Forudsætningen for et højt udbytte er især viljen til forandring, modet til at være ærlig og en god kemi med coachen. Nogle bruger coaching kontinuerligt og andre vælger at opsøge en coach når de har en konkret problemstilling, en dårlig vane de vil kvitte eller en vigtig beslutning de skal træffe.

Virksomheder anvender i stadig stigende grad coaches til en-til-en samtaler, teamcoaching eller faciliteringsopgaver. Det er ofte ønsket om trivsel, medarbejderfastholdelse og bedre resultater der får virksomheder til at bruge coaching.

Coaching koster 625 kr/t . Når du som privatperson eller virksomhed har haft en indledende snak med mig og vi har klarlagt omfanget af et samarbejde, vil du typisk blive præsenteret for en samlet pris.
